We are inviting everybody to join and bring your own clothing items which will be re-used and (TRANSFORMED) into new functions and appearances during the performance. We invited the public to walk with us from Görlizer Park (TOWARDS) the Gallery Der kleine Salon where we will exhibit (ALL ITEMS) made out of all our clothing aT Domestic Mapping: THE EXHIBITION WILL RUN until June 6th when we invite everybody to take back your cloths or what has become of them.
In this way we define the space, invite the audience to step inside and embody displaced elements of our personal cartography, marking our exile and search for a home. The audience is trapped inside our moving structure, where we act like magnetic spiders, catching our audience into a newly secure collective space. Within this homely weaved space we invite the participant to get and feel caught yet protected .

Contemporary Osmosis: It can be interpreted as the contemporary sense of permeatability, or the temporary or short-term state of permeation. In this aspect, there is a sense of attachment in relationships. Then, through the time of links, various mutual driving forces such as punctum, assimilation, absorption, dissimilation, repulsion, etc. are created. In this age when image and video media can be produced rapidly, image language is pixelized, framized, and over post-produced. Whether the process from one frame into the next through permeation is a process of poisoning or achieving balance is an issue for participants to reflect on during the “(CON)TEMPORARY OSMOSIS – Audiovisual Media festival 2015”, a festival focusing on Asian linked images.

(con)temporary space-time was a three weeks live performance and exhibition events during the Month of Performance Art Berlin 2013, with 17 artists from Taiwan showing their live actions/ performance documents, and 5 guest artists from Germany and U.S, to present their works. The whole event was taking place in five different venues in Berlin Mitte/ Wedding/ Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain.

There are two subjects involved in this project. A neo-generation of Taiwanese artists and history of Taiwanese performance/ action art, and image exhibition and on-the-spot performance. Presenting the history and uniqueness of Taiwanese performance/ action art, exploring how body, behaviour and space are linked to each other. As well as how the artists present and define “time” in this specific background of time. Through these two subjects, every artist will variously carry out their own definition and presentation within “time, context and space.”
