Dear Eater, Dear Feeder,
Feed me in aims to transform the daily eating action into a renewed experience and artistic experiment.
An everyday action, feeding oneself can be a passion or a wearisome routine. Eating is however a vital need for all of us, and everyone identifies to it, in its own traditions and habits.
Feed me in will explore new perspectives of eating. The length, composition and rhythm of my meals will be disturbed and challenged by the way you feed me, and nourish our relation. You are therefore invited to bring food to the event, to share with me throughout the day, from the simplest bread or apple to a home-cooked meal.
Feed me in sublimes the act of eating and multiplies its signification, digging past the everyday action to create a ceremonial performance.
Let’s eat together!

I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
TIME: From 21:00
LOCATION: Meinblau e.V. (MPA-HUB) Haus 5D, Christinenstraße 18-19, 10119, www.meinblau.de
When their solo public performances were abruptly cancelled by the secret police, they had to improvise. Willem began by saying “I don’t know what to do.” Moved by this profundity, Randy repeated it the next day. “I don’t know what to do.” Thus, the twins were born.
“I don’t know what to do!” cried Scrooge, laughing and crying in the same breath. “I am as light as a feather, I am as happy as an angel, I am as merry as a school-boy. I am as giddy as a drunken man. A merry Christmas to every-body! A happy New Year to all the world! Hallo here! Whoop! Hallo!”
– Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”
– Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
