In the time of emergency, actions are taken without justification, born into a situation as a last resort or as a result of another situation. The ever-changing realities of power structures and hasty developments in the multiple societies create a fragile present and uncertain future. This is projected by both the powerful and the powerless, through space and every walk of life.
Multiple working groups of artists each develop and each perform collaborative public research actions and talks surrounding concrete plans to address practical resilience and resistance strategies. Engaging in and integrated life courses at the space towards the performative – Grüntaler9, each participant deals with their own practice and the relationship between complex contemplation and acts.
The artists are invited to participate in a multiple day investigation, which formalizes analytic access to the performance of resilience and resistance. By struggling in ordinary performative forms to communicate and practice, we construct a platform analogizing power shifts and conflicts through collaborative acts themselves. Together, we practice non-representation as aligned with anti-commodification under and within the neo-liberal system.
All elements of this project are being constructed collaboratively and by involved participants, entities and individuals. It’s a set of operation.
Participating Rules in form of a micro-macro manifest:
1) Everyone can participate.
2) Participants need to show up at the location Grüntaler9 the first and the second and the third day no later than 12h midday.
3) Participants need to dedicate their time & presence for the entire 3 days from 12-18h.

5) Participants need to make a donation for food & drinks provided during that time period.
6) Participants don’t need to register.

SCULPTURAL NARRATION IN PUBLIC SPACE
LOCATION: Pariser Platz / Brandenburger Tor
CURATED BY: headless thinking (Herma Auguste Wittstock, Anne Wodtcke)

Central idea of this performance is to create an interactive space, a fabulous green figure with eight limbs and no face. Green is the colour of harmony, hope and the colour of life in general.
The two artists are both wearing green second skin suits which are connected with an 6 m long tube of fabric – the soft exchange of ideas and energy is possible. Both artist are of extreme visual contrast – one very thick the other very thin – which stands metaphorical for the fundamental diversity of people.
In their performative interventions the two actors/artists are moving sculptural as if they are floating – either individually, together or slowly towards the spectators, and will create an area for encounters to enable interaction between the two artists, spectators and passers-by, to experience the space together from the perspective of a person-to-person or a person-to-group relationship regardless of social class, nationality, racial or ethnic origin, color, age or confession.
A game in which the idea of being connected, of self-determination and manipulation, as well as diversity, membership and tolerance may be asked – today, 70 years after the end of the second world war.

LATITUD 32°N / 55°S
ARTISTS TALK: PERFORMANCE ART IN LATIN AMERICA
LOCATION: Meinblau e.V. (MPA-HUB) Haus 5D, Christinenstraße 18-19, 10119

Latitud 32°N / 55°S is a platform for the dissemination of contemporary performance art from LatinAmerica. We are convinced that through a careful selection of artists whose work is clearly away from typecasts of “Latin art” and whose methodology or technique is varied, it is possible to attest, without thematize, that performance art does not have a direct relation to the nationality of the artists, regardless of where he/ she comes from. We are aware that confronting a stereotype bring the risk of focusing more attention on it, however, we also believe that it is important to make a presentation that shows what is happening now over there. With this perspective, the curatorial work was conceived to create a sort of exhibition of ideas: the ideas that are currently being treated in the context of the invited artists. This evening the artists won’t talk just about their works, but also about their artistic practice in their hometowns and the networks and circumstances in which they work.
