ROCK YOUR BODY
Bryndís Björnsdóttir (aka Dísa)

I will rock your body, I wanna rock your body, rock your body now. A performance that makes the attempt of deciphering the ontological meaning behind the lyrics of rock songs. As a conductor the artist will ask the audience to be her instruments, forming a tune in their own head that grasps their take on rocking a body. The starting point is the concern of ontology, to think the being of the rock. Equipment will be provided to make the right setting for the orchestra.

I AM NOT
Valentina Murabito in collaboration with Suzan Kizilirmak

Two performers are in front of the audience, both women dressed in clothing of the same colour. One of them stands behind the first, not perfectly aligned with her. On the ground next to them there is a rope. The first, improvising and taking inspiration from the audience and everything around her, expresses everything she is not.

For example: “I’m not a mother”. The second, turning towards the first, tells her what she is or what she should be: “You are/You should be…”. The first then repeats it out loud. This exchange continues until one of them takes the rope and challenges the other. The challenge is real and a matter of the strength of the performers. One of them will lose, but nobody knows who. The project is an expression of identity and inner conflict or division between what we really are and what we aspire to be.

THREAD
Manuela Macco

One or more threads cross the space creating in the air a fragile, almost invisible, installation. Two or more persons weave a silent relation, how long will this ephemeral construction last?

MILCH
Nausicᾶ – Despina Bibika, Iriana Ioannou, Dimitra Thomaidou

Two children are playing. Their game becomes intertwined with images and sounds made up of the previous century, and History plays across the TV screen. Two children, coming of age, are breathing in the 20th century, their game speaking of its minor and major narrations. Six artists from Greece, each living in a different place around the globe, come together for this project. Exploring the use of masks, sound, light, shadow and body – a violinist, a pianist, a TV screen and three actors build an imaginary world in which they co-create, co-act, and co-exist—in a single phrase: a live animation.’
