I am a performer and artistic director. I am the co-founder and curator at the ScalaMata Exhibition Space in Venice (2006) where I organised the “Memory space” site-specific performance series at 10 different locations at the 53rd Art Biennale in Venice (2009). I holds a BA in Theatre Teaching, Theatre Direction and Production, and is a certified acting teacher. I also have a BA in theatre and interdisciplinary studies (film and music) from Israel, as well as an MA in Space Strategies (Art in Public Spaces) at KHB, Berlin, Germany. I wrote my dissertation on the “Curatorial approach to site-specific performance, intervention and participatory art in the public realm”. I graduated the Pan-European Diploma for Art and Cultural Project Management (2016). I was awarded the Martha Pansani (1997-1999) and ELES (2010-2012) scholarship.
My work is research-based. My writing engages mainly with different curatorial approaches to site specific performance, and participatory intervention in the public realm, institutional critique and cultural policy. I am an associate member of APAB – Association for Performance Art in Berlin and LAFT Berlin (Der LAFT Berlin – Landesverband Freie Darstellende Künste Berlin). I was associate curator of the MPA-B – Month of Performance Art Berlin (2013-2015) and of the BIPAF Brooklyn International Performance Art Festival (2014). Artistic Director of the Marburg Short Drama Festival (2013), Co-curator of “The law of the market / Berlin – Bangalore” (2012).
